About Production Monitoring System: Whilst the Vehicle Build application (see below) has been up and running for many years, its primary purpose is for recording the serial numbers associated with the fitted parts and assemblies. What was missing was a software system to guide and monitor the build process itself. Acumen were commissioned in the summer of 2014 to design and develop a suitable system; we are now proud to say that the first phase of the Production Monitoring System is now Live and is being used across multiple production lines and sub-assembly lines. Phase two of the development is the addition of functionality to guide and record the results of the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) process. This has now been completed and is currently (August/September 2015) undergoing User Acceptance Testing.

About Vehicle Build: Implemented throughout the Warwick assembly line, and in key office departments, the Vehicle Build application monitors every stage of the assembly of a vehicle. Providing an interface to data consumed from other corporate systems, Vehicle Build provides parts traceability and allows staff to track the progress of a vehicle order throughout the assembly process. Update - the source code has been upgraded to the latest version of Visual Studio. The software is now fully compatible with the latest version of the Windows operating system and the life of the application has been extended for many years.

Sales Analysis

About Sales Analysis: Used by the Parts department, this application applies powerful analysis tools to data captured by other corporate systems. Sophisticated data-mining allows custom analysis of data at all levels, from a customer-wide level right down to an individual part. Data can be viewed either directly within the application, or exported to Microsoft Excel for further analysis and manipulation. Update - the source code has been upgraded to the latest version of Visual Studio. The software is now fully compatible with the latest version of the Windows operating system and the life of the application has been extended for many years.
Customer Testimonial: The sales analysis application is easy to use and allows us to very quickly interrogate and report our parts sales from a broad overview for each customer right down to individual items on individual sales orders and invoices. Analysing our sales used to take between 1 to 3 days depending on the size of the customers account but now we can get actual sales data in 10mins. The MS Excel export routine allows us to further interrogate the data. We very rarely need any help with the software as its very simple to use but when we do Acumen are always willing to help us.

About Depot Stock Control: Originally intended as a stop-gap measure, this application was actually in service for many years. Providing stock control, service job management and financial reporting functions, this elegant application interfaced directly with core corporate applications.

About Electronic Parts Catalogue Demo: Dennis Eagle approached us with an urgent requirement to produce a demonstrator for their web-based Electronic Parts Catalogue. We provided a multimedia presentation that explains the use of the system, CD artwork, CD production and printing, in record time. In addition to the multimedia CDs, we also provided a version of the demo for deployment via Dennis Eagle's corporate website.
Customer Testimonial: We needed a way of demonstrating our online Electronic Parts Catalogue to our customers and to our internal staff also doubled as a tutorial .
